Victoria Leeds, managed by Redical, has announced that independent home décor retailer north home will be expanding and relocating to a larger space within the Victoria Quarter’s County Arcade. This marks the brand’s third expansion in just four years, reflecting its rapid growth since its launch in 2020. 

Scheduled to open in October, the new north home store will span four floors, covering 4,230 square feet—double the size of its previous location. This expansion will allow the retailer to introduce a new range of products, including home fragrances, skincare, and packaged food items, alongside its established selection of Nordic-inspired homeware such as kitchen and tableware, soft furnishings, and larger furniture pieces. 

Kamil Wangin, co-owner of north home, highlighted the significance of this development, stating, “The opening of our significantly larger showroom marks a milestone for northhome, which has thrived since its inception. With the support of Victoria Leeds, we have continuously grown and refined our concept, and we are excited to enhance our offering to customers in this expanded space.” 

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, expressed her enthusiasm for northhome’s success, noting, “It has been a pleasure to support northhome’s journey from a pop-up to a permanent store, and now to a much larger, more ambitious showroom. Supporting independent brands and local businesses is essential to our mission of maintaining a diverse and innovative tenant mix at Victoria Leeds.” 

Northhome’s expansion follows the recent announcement that British heritage and lifestyle brand Barbour will also be opening its first standalone store in Victoria Quarter later this year, further strengthening the retail offering at the destination.
