The Calgary interior design and architecture studio, Mera Studio Architects, has expanded its operations with the launch of Very Very Shop, a new store offering a curated selection of home goods right out of its office in Inglewood.

Mera Studio Architects, known for redesigning spaces for homeowners and businesses, now provides Calgarians an opportunity to infuse their spaces with the firm’s distinctive style and favorite finds. The store, aptly named Very Very Shop, derives its name from a common phrase used by the owners, Meghan Bannon and Tara Marshall, to emphasize something exceptionally unique.

“When something stands out so much that it’s hard to describe, you need that added emphasis of ‘very very,'” says Bannon. “That’s how we feel about the products in the store.”

“We’ve always had a strong love for decor,” adds Marshall. “But finding products that matched our aesthetic locally, or even within Canada, was challenging.” Mera’s style is characterized by modern designs with mid-century undertones, featuring organic textures and rich neutral tones.

Very Very Shop offers a diverse range of locally and internationally sourced home goods, including artwork, ceramics, sculptures, kitchenware, lighting, and cupboard handles. Bannon and Marshall have meticulously selected these items to reflect their personal design preferences, and they continually seek out new pieces.

In addition to its regular offerings, the team has collaborated with businesses to create custom pieces, such as the Mera Sound Sconce, an innovative speaker system with integrated lighting developed in partnership with Leon Speakers.
